Afterschool Activities

RSU#13, through a 21st Century Learning Center Grant, will offer a FREE online games/learning experience camp via Zoom this summer for Elementary students going into K-5th, Oceanside Middle School students going into 6-8th and a special Counselor in Training program for Oceanside High School students going into 9-12th.

Zoom ELEMENTARY Summer Camp will meet Monday-Thursday from 10-11am.  Zoom MIDDLE SCHOOL Summer Camp will meet Monday-Thursday from 11am-12pm.  Both programs will run for 8 weeks: July 6th - August 27th.  This is a great way for your student to avoid "summer slide" - by spending on hour each day doing fun challenges, games, activities and projects online with their friends and our summer camp staff. It is also a great way to put that school issued iPad to use!  Be one of the first 20 families to register by Monday, June 22nd and receive a FREE Summer Camp Kit of Fun! (A box we deliver to your door with art supplies, games, sports equipment and other fun stuff!)

RSU#13 Afterschool is pleased to offer four Counselor-in-Training (CIT) Internships (with paid stipend) this summer. CIT Interns will work alongside 21st Century Summer Camp staff to provide games and activities for younger students K-8 who have signed up for RSU #13 Virtual Summer Camp. This is a remote, work-from-home internship.

These internships are available to any Oceanside High School student and come with a $500 stipend, as well as training in the area of youth education and guided mentorship from our CIT Program Advisor. In this CIT program you will gain leadership skills, knowledge about working with youth, and experience in planning and implementing meaningful activities for students.

Please see program details, as well as the link to our application here.

With RSU 13 doing remote emergency learning, we are also taking our afterschool tutoring and enrichment programming online. We have created a survey to get your feedback on how afterschool programming could work best for your family.

Please take a moment to take the survey here:

We recognize that every family’s situation right now is different, and that what worked during regular school may not work now. However, we also recognize that afterschool plays an important role for students in helping them stay on track with their school work, connecting socially with their peers in a safe environment, and learning new skills. Your feedback means a lot to us, so thank you for taking the time to complete the survey, and helping us provide the best online programming we can.
